About Executive Notes
Executive Notes is a short, considered publication on revenue decisions during business transitions.
It exists for leaders navigating moments where:
growth slows or changes shape
Go-to-market no longer fits
Complexity increases faster than clarity
This is not tactical advice.
It is not a playbook.
Each note captures patterns, questions, and decisions drawn from real conversations and lived experience, to help leaders think more clearly when the stakes are high.
Notes are deliberately short, focused, and written to be read in one sitting.
Who this is for
Executive Notes is written for:
founders and CEOs
CROs and revenue leaders
leadership teams in transition
Especially when the shift is no longer obvious:
product-led → sales-led
SMB → enterprise
growth → profitability
domestic → international
Who Is Behind This
I am Henry Kayser.
I have spent the last two decades building and scaling revenue organisations, including time at Oracle and Zoom, and today work as an advisor to leaders navigating critical transition phases.
What I have learned is simple:
Most problems at scale are not a lack of tactics, but a lack of clarity.
Executive Notes is where I share what I see, what I question, and what repeatedly matters — without noise, performance, or formulas.
A note on intent
This publication is intentionally small and restrained.
It exists to support better thinking, not to build an audience.
If you’re in the middle of a transition and looking for a sharper perspective, you’ll likely find this useful.
all the best
Henry
